Claire and Peter’s wedding is close to my heart, Steve and I were very impressed by Claire’s creativity; she made her own wedding dress, escort cards, and invites.
She named after a deck of cards. We took the invite and other materials to custom designed runners by stenciling with paint and chalk and glued paper.
We love Claire’s “Victorian/Vintage” style, which was very inspiring to us. A Victorian style floral designer, Constance Spry has influenced us for many years.

We use traditional flowers such as carnations, baby’s breath, gladiolus, spider mums, and assorted types of fern, garden roses, monstera leaves, ivy, zinnias, and blueberries.Claire wanted an “Ombre” pink color scheme, which played through the entire wedding.
The bride’s bouquet was really fun to do. She wanted a combination of two prior bouquets, Megan from Shadow Lawn and Nicole’s vintage bouquet from The Garrison (both featured on Style Me Pretty). The result: baby’s breath, cotton, herbs, garden roses, queen anne’s lace, ranunculus, and guinea feathers with a gorgeous hand tied embroidered ribbon.
For the Brides Maid’s bouquets were similar, but added a bit more colorful accent colors.
