Nicole and Jeff’s Vintage Wedding

I am thrilled to be able to post photos from this gorgeous Garrison wedding. Since the day we created the floral for Nicole and Jeff and met their amazing photographer Charlotte Jenks Lewis, we knew this wedding HAD to be published somewhere. For this reason, I could not use her photos on my Blog or anywhere else and I have been dying. When we found out that Style me Pretty was featuring it, we were jumping with excitement and anticipation. Please keep reading – photos below.

We loved this couple from the minute we met them. For our first meeting we had to bring our 3-year-old daughter Scarlett. Nicole, Jeff, and Jeff’s parents were at the meeting and were not bothered by our daughter who spent the whole time talking about her doll Coco who was missing.  Nicole was so sweet about it telling her her nickname was Coco.

We totally clicked as a collaborative team. Nicole is beautiful, sweet, and stylish. I had so much fun brainstorming with and for her. I was so please that Nicole loved my vision for the tables and bouquets.

For the Brides Bouquet, I envisioned it to look like lace. We started with Queen Anne’s Lace as the base and added flowers like Baby’s Breath with soft touches of raw Cotton, Anemones, Roses, and Ranunculus. My idea for her lace ribbon was to
antique it myself using coffee and tea. I love the broche Nicole added.

For the Maid of Honor, the idea was to use Baby’s Breath as the base adding Queen Anne’s lace, Dusty Miller, Roses, and Ranunculus. Finally, the Brides Maids idea was to use mostly Baby’s Breath with additional flowers adding  softness.

I love the Boutonniere’s too. Especially Jeff’s where we used raw cotton and Hanging Amaranthus.

We alternated tables, as we love to do. We had Candelabra’s, Antique Urns, Multiple ceramic Vases on frames (Nicole’s idea) and my favorite, Cloches. We also hung our antique birdcage with floral spray and jewels over the dance floor.

My idea for the Cloches was to use hand tied small clusters of Baby’s Breath from the top like a waterfall cascading over small arrangements in tiny ceramic rocks. We added pearls, river rocks wrapped in lace and other “found objects”.

Sweetheart Table and hanging birdcage

I hope you love this wedding as much as we love it.
