Megan and Ryan’s Summer Wedding

Megan and Ryan picked a great spot to get married. We love working at Shadow Lawn, not only is it a beautiful wedding spot but it is less than 10 minutes  from our home/office and workspace. Every wedding we have ever done at Shadow Lawn has been published. Still keeping with this trend, we are very pleased Megan and Ryan’s wedding has recently been featured on Style Me Pretty. http://www.stylemepretty.com/new-york-weddings/2012/01/13/shadow-lawn-wedding-by-weddings-by-two/

I love how fresh everything looks, the flowers and décor really came together making this wedding gorgeous. Because it looked like it would rain the couple opted for a tent. I wasn’t sure how the ceremony would look but their photographers, Weddings By Two did a tremendous job, you can barely tell. We love their work so much. Please take a minute to check them out. http://www.weddingsbytwo.com/

I especially love Megan’s Bouquet; I guess I am bias

I designed it.

Megan asked that her bouquet  be filled  with  Herbs and natural elements. I was very inspired and came up with a design. (See Inspired Design Herb Bouquet). The only change  we made was adding softer flowers and cotton. The end result, perfection.
Looking closely you will see Clover, Cotton, three types of Thyme, Sage, Flowering Mint, yellow Arugula flowers, Scented Geranium, and Rosemary. We added Wax Flower, white and green Anemone, ivory Lisianthus, Dahlia, Seeded Eucalyptus, Scabiosa Pods, Hydrangea, silver Brunia, Succulents, Queen Anne’s Lace, yellow Spray and Garden Roses. It was tied with wool yarn.

The Brides Maids Bouquets were really nice. Megan wanted theirs to have more yellow flowers with accents of green. I love how they look  against their green dresses. I tied them with hemp and rope.

We attached Driftwood to the ceremony Arch and then added bunches of Baby’s Breath. I am so happy how everything turned out and am inspired by the beautiful photographs.
